The outstanding bargain in headphones in recent times is the Sennheiser HD650, which held the position, you might say, of “top of the middle-ranking headphones” at $899/pair. We can say that because we do carry headphones at considerably higher prices.

 For example, the HD800 at $1999 sets a totally new standard for what you might call the “start of the top-end” price range, as they outperform anything at that level and a fair way beyond it. We also have Stax Electrostatics ranging up to $8999.

 But back to the HD650s: they are on a limited special offer, reduced from $899 to $499.
